How to stop losing in Ironhold Command
When people complain Ironhold Command is too hard, it's almost always a supply problem, not a combat one. Your fortress falls because the ore never reached the forge, not because the walls were thin.
Start by keeping your production buildings close together and your storage in the middle. Every tile a resource has to travel is time you don't have during an attack wave. I redesigned my whole base around this and my failure rate dropped hard.
Don't over-invest in defense early. A couple of turrets at the choke point plus a solid economy beats a wall of weapons you can't supply. The game rewards patience more than aggression.
It's a thinkier game than its presentation suggests. Give it an hour of real planning and it opens up into something genuinely satisfying.
