Neon Drift Rally
★★★★☆ 4.1
Neon Drift Rally doesn't pretend to be a sim. It's a pure arcade racer where the whole point is holding long neon-lit drifts around corners to charge your boost. The feel is immediate and genuinely fun.
Touch controls default to tilt steering with a tap-to-drift button, and it works better than I feared. Tracks are short, which suits the pick-up-and-play format, and unlocking new cars gives you a reason to keep replaying the ones you've beaten.
There's not much depth beyond chasing better times, but as a thing to play for ten minutes on a train, it nails the vibe.
